Conversion to Islam
Born as Chauncey Lamont Hawkins changed his name to Amir Junaid Muhadith after converting to Islam. He recently travelled to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the holiest site of Islam,[1] to perform Umrah. He has since ended his career from rap, and right now is focusing on seeking knowledge and giving Da'wa. On May 26, 2010, he traveled to Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada and spoke about his life and why he converted to Islam
